We believe we are the most passionate and dedicated personal trainers in Bournemouth!

When choosing to work with a Personal Training Coach its important you get it right – we develop a relationship and often friendship so knowing we can bring the best out in each other is vital. Most importantly will you get the results you are looking for – below are some of the most frequently asked questions to help you decide – but a free chat & coffee can go a long way too.

Is personal training right for everyone?

YES – no matter what your age, sex, gender or current fitness levels are – everyone can benefit from personal training to help you achieve better health, fitness, body shape & image and more importantly confidence & self esteem

What happens during sessions?

This will depend on your goals but I aim to make every session fun and challenging but within your limits – I do not believe in ‘beasting’ people – forget what you see on TV – training should be encouraging & supportive – we will use a wide variety of training protocols and tools to achieve that in a safe and friendly environment – clients have come to me in the past feeling scared of what’s to come especially if you’re new to exercise – they always leave their first session reassured that PT is fun and enjoyable.

Is PT expensive & how do I pay?

The average cost of a PT session is around £40 you would easily spend this on a night out or a taxi home – people spend more money on cigarettes & meals out – is there a price on your health? Investing in your future health, fitness and happiness is priceless – payment is either monthly or quarterly – this shows commitment and is proven to minimise missed sessions and increase satisfaction of results. It also enables me to provide the support you need.

I have joint issues & or medical problems is it safe to exercise?

A lot of back pain and joint pain can stem from inactivity and/or being overweight – increasing your activity can help ease these issues – if you have anything medical with G.P clearance we can work together on improving your health – I often work along side physios/chiorpractors & osteopaths to get clients back on form – using corrective exercise we can get you stronger than ever before.

Can I do Personal Training with my partner, friends, colleagues or family members?

YES – small groups can work well and can be fun with a little friendly competitive element. I train a lot of couples already and they find exercising together works – getting fitness in and spending time together – this is also a cheaper option and so can help make this a more affordable option.

Do you have insurance & first aid qualifications?

Yes I am insured and hold a current first aid qualification with ICE In case of emergency training.

My diary is full - how can I fit Personal training in?

That’s the beauty of having a personal service it can fit in with your schedule – short sessions to suit you can be worked into your day, you can even train via skype in your office or when travelling.

How many sessions a week do I need?

You need to be exercising 3/4 times a week to see results or you will be selling yourself short – this can be achieved either through sessions with me or a combination of training/activity in your own time if you have the motivation to do so.

Are my results guaranteed?

If you were to follow my nutrition and training plan to the letter there is no way you can fail, but as with everything the more effort you put in the better the result will be – if you choose to follow your own path or make up your own rules then your results will be less successful.

Are you the best trainer for me?

See my testimonials and transformation pictures to see the results that my wonderful clients have achieved – how I work is personal to you so together we find a program and nutrition protocol that fits with your lifestyle and tastes – a free consultation/chat is the best way for you to decide – I love my job and my clients make this easy for me so I hope you will also love the experience.

Do you provide an online training service as I cant make it when you're available?

Yes I do – please see the online section on this site there are many options to suit your budget and can be a less expensive way of working with a personal trainer whilst still seeing great results – you just need the motivation to work by yourself whilst still receiving support from me.

I am very unfit will I be able to cope with the sessions?

Your sessions will be programmed to work within your current ability – progressing week by week as you get fitter & stronger.
